First time visiting this restaurant and I come to pawleys every year, We sat at the bar patio which was quite and comfortable. I was hoping for a nice flounder or grouper sandwich..but none on menu. My suppose had the seafood sam pier and said it was quite good exc apt for the oysters. I chose the plain hamburger and boy I was both surprised and pleased...it was huge with fries and cooked to order. The service was very good and the atmosphere was relaxed. A bit pricey but reasonable. I will be back I wish to try their lamb. A must eat in pawleys!

Amazing food, wonderful ambiance inside and outside, and seasonal specialties! The specialty cocktails are excellent, as are their menu items. I always enjoy the wait staff suggestions on what to order. The seafood is always wonderfully fresh!

Beautiful setting, great service and incredible food. Party of four dined last sitting inside. Another option is a covered side for those that prefer or didn't request indoor seating. Started with she crab soup ; rich as expected and served steaming hot . Hot loaf of bread for the table that was excellent Rachael was our server; she took very good care of us throughout the evening Our friends shared what appeared to be a 16 ounce pork chop that was incredible . We shared the flounder which also was incredible. A very enjoyable evening Bon Appetite

We went here for lunch. The ambience is lovely. The staff were uniformly professional and welcoming. The food was excellent. We both had the seafood platter - lightly battered, perfectly fried fish, scallops, shrimp and oysters served with grits and the best fried okra this southern gal has ever had. The food was excellent. I don't like heavily battered fried seafood; it always seems as if they are trying to hide something with all that batter and grease. But this was lightly battered and not at all greasy - just wonderful tasty seafood. I got crab slaw to go for my dinner. Crab slaw is actually a delightful mix of crab, artichokes, avocado, tomato and other salad fixings with a light vinaigrette - absolutely perfect. I'll be back this way next year and I will return!

We made reservations online ( Open Table) 10 mins before arriving. Good thing as that helped us get seated promptly. I ordered the Fried green tomatoes Napoleon appetizer and it was good. Not great but good. Pepper jelly was sweet and pimento cheese tasteless? My son and daughter in law both ordered the cornmeal crusted flounder. It was very nice. Definitely four star. I had the bouillabaisse which was loaded with seafood (including lump crab which wasn't listed on the menu). I was lukewarm on the okra though. I like fried okra but boiled okra is a bit slimy. Dessert was a life experience. Peach Cobbler with homemade vanilla ice cream. The cobbler was hot from the oven...the ice cream cold and delicious. It was a dessert that I will measure all others against from this point forward.

We decided to have an adult dinner while on vacation in Pawleys Island. Our reservation was for 8:30 even though the restaurant closes at 9pm (which might be when they stop seating). We started the meal with appetizers: shrimp stuffed dates and fried green tomatoes. Both were absolutely delicious. I chose to have the crab nachos for dinner much to our servers displeasure. The nachos were delicious! My daughter ordered the shrimp and scallops. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and the scallops were like butter. My sons each got the the Mediterranean chicken pasta. Odd choice for them but they both enjoyed it. They were originally going to order something different but they were out of the Special Noodle and the other item was only available at lunch (even though it was on the menu)! The restaurant is small but they have opened an additional outdoor eating space. It is extremely loud with the restaurant full. The ambiance is that of a casual dining place while the prices are of a fine dining experience. The food was impeccable. Our waitress seemed deeply annoyed when our group of 8 only ordered 2 cocktails. She was particularly peeved that I ordered an appetizer for a meal (big enough for a shareable appetizer or a meal). I've been at restaurants many times near closing time. Our reservation was for 8:30pm. It was 9pm by the time our food came out. The staff made us feel rushed to get out of their way to clean the place before closing for the night. It's a vacation spot with lots of other restaurants to choose from while on Pawleys. Food was absolutely fantastic but the service was off putting to say the least.

GREAT wine list by the glass! Such unique finds that pair well with dishes. Nice little patio bar that felt much more low key than inside to start our night which was nice. She crab soup was incredible...and I honestly hate soup. I wish I had gotten a cup instead of a sip. We had the ahi tuna special to go which was extremely fresh!
